A unique book of stories with measured reading ages to develop literal comprehension, inferential comprehension and the making of generalisations and evaluative judgements. Each story is followed by groups of questions and then a cloze passage which paraphrases the preceding story. This book includes a picture completion exercise. The words to be inserted in the cloze exercise can be cut off from the end of the worksheet to provide a more challenging activity. The Reading Age of each story and cloze passage is provided. Reading Ages range from 6.2 to 8.0 years (64 pages).
